Rick Frisbie to Speak at the CFA Society San Francisco’s 2017 FinTech Series on March 30th

Rick Frisbie, CEO of RobustWealth, will be speaking at the CFA Society San Francisco’s 2017 FinTech Series on March 30th. Rick will be part of a panel discussing the future of automated wealth management.

Questions will be geared toward challenges advisors face using robo-advisors and how they see the space evolving in the coming years. How can robo-advisors be more sustainable and profitable? Do others see this new field as an opportunity or a threat? The panel will address these pressing questions and more.

Panelists include:

Min Zhang, CEO and co-founder of Totum Wealth.  Min brings over 10 years of institutional investing experience to transform wealth management.

Joe Cianciolo, Head of Sales and Business Development for BlackRock’s FutureAdvisor business.  He leads the team responsible for strategy, negotiations, and relationship management with partner financial institutions for the distribution of FutureAdvisor’s white-labeled capabilities to partners’ advisors and end-customers.

Our very own Rick Frisbie, the Chief Executive Officer of RobustWealth, a firm funded by investment advisors and institutional venture capital, offering private-label services, exclusive commitment to the advisor channel, and an institutional-quality investment platform. Rick most recently served as Executive Vice President for Franklin Templeton’s multi-asset and alternative businesses. Prior to these positions, Rick served as Chief Administrative Officer, where his responsibilities included acquisitions and strategic planning. As President of Franklin Templeton’s Retirement Division, he led the buildout of a business with over $100 billion in assets under management. Rick currently serves on the Board of the San Francisco 49ers Foundation. He earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and a BA from the University of Virginia.

Simon Roy, President of Jemstep, has overall responsibility for its business development, sales and services. Mr. Roy oversees corporate strategy and manages the investment systems function, which develops and maintains sophisticated financial modeling applications that support investment decision-making on the Jemstep platform.

The moderator of this panel is Drew Voros, editor-in-chief for ETF.com. He supervises its media properties including ETF.com, ETF Report and newsletters.
