A common theme emerged at the Digital Advice Conference: Better Serving Clients. We heard from a powerful women’s panel on ways to adjust communication to better connect with your clients; especially females.
Some of our favorite tactics were:
- Rearranging meeting space to be more approachable
- Utilizing personality tests to find the best communication methods for each client
- Focusing on each individual client – not stereotyping their needs
Reaching Millennials is a unique challenge for advisors. Alan Moore, Co-Founder of XYPN, and John Augenblick, President of Rockwood Wealth Management, shared how they attract millennials not only as clients but as employees. They taught us about segmenting your practice to accommodate the millennial client and what benefits rank of high importance to the millennial employee.
